GLATTVIADUKT FLAWIL/GOSSAU SWITZERLAND The SBB (Railway
Authority) commissioned the new bridge to meet the SBB 2000
Identity criterion and to replace a ca. 1890 structure which
was too costly to upgrade. The key idea was to demonstrate the
three previous bridge structures as essential layers in a manifestation
of historic development. A media concept was also developed
to market the scheme to all responsible Authority departments.
